Honouring the Memories: Heartfelt Tributes Across Lincolnshire

Respected throughout the community is the meaningful tradition of announcing the passing of loved ones through local news outlets. Such announcements serve as a source of reflection and remembrance, a service that The Lincoln Post is proud to provide, both in print and online through the notable funeral-notices.co.uk.

These notices stand as permanent online memorials, offering friends and family a platform to perpetuate the memory of their dearly departed, sharing treasured reminiscences and even giving to charity in their name. Each week, we spotlight those who have been remembered in this way through a dedicated obituary and online tribute page.

This week, we’re paying respects to several admired individuals:

Pam, who was 76, passed away peacefully with her son at her side. A funeral service is to be held on her behalf at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe, with invitations to donate to Cancer Research UK.

72-year-old Mick, a resident of Barton-upon-Humber, is being remembered lovingly by his family. They request, instead of flowers, for donations to be made in his memory to Barton United Football Club, underscoring his passionate support of his grandchildren.

Jane Clark, ex-ward manager at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, is being commemorated for her unyielding loyalty to friends and family. A service in her honour will be held at Grimsby Crematorium, with opportunities to donate to the Children’s Ward at DPOW.

Val, a beloved dinner lady for more than three decades, succumbed following a lengthy illness. A memorial service for her will take place at Grimsby Minster, and donations are invited to the Stroke Unit.

Having lost her life soon after her husband Royce, Janet will have a service in her memory at All Hallows Church, North Kelsey. Contributions to the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance are welcome.

These heartfelt commemorations ensure the continued honouring of the loved ones we’ve lost. For more details or to contribute to these tributes, we invite you to visit funeral-notices.co.uk.

Our deepest sympathies are with the families and friends of the departed.
