A survivor of sexual abuse from a Lincolnshire children’s home has secured substantial compensation. The woman, who prefers to remain anonymous, was sexually assaulted as a teenager by her support worker in the care home. It has been confirmed via legal representatives that the abuse started shortly after she was placed in the care home at the age of 15 due to worries about her potential exposure to sexual exploitation. Andrew Geeson, the support worker involved, was employed by Keys Care Ltd at the time of the crimes. He was sentenced to over 5 years in jail in 2023. A civil claim against Keys Care Ltd has now been settled. However, Keys Care Ltd have yet to comment on the matter.
