A police investigation has been initiated following a fire incident suspected to be a result of arson in Nettleham, near Lincoln, which damaged both a residential flat and the Co-op store located beneath. The fire service was informed of the incident, which took place on the 17th of April, shortly after 19:00 BST. Lincolnshire Police have now confirmed that the fire was started intentionally. A man and his cat were rescued from the premises, with the man now in hospital recovering from substantial, yet non-life-threatening injuries.
