Swan Care Home, a state-of-the-art facility located on Peaks Lane in New Waltham, has recently opened its doors. The residence is designed to cater to individuals aged 65 and above and offers a number of bespoke features, including 18 bedrooms, 13 of which are en-suite, a spacious dining area, a pair of sizeable lounges, and a dedicated room for leisure activities.
The establishment’s grand opening, which took place earlier this month, included a variety of esteemed local figures, such as Steve Beasant and Sandra Hullett, the Mayor and Mayoress of North East Lincolnshire. The Mayor spoke favorably of the care home’s welcoming and homely atmosphere during the occasion.
A fun-filled feast was available for all attendees, which included a buffet, an array of light beverages, a children’s bouncy castle, and live singing performances by local artist, Meg Curry.
Sharra Grainger, Swan Care Home’s Manager, spoke positively about the opening day while speaking to local media outlet, Grimsby Live. She expressed her satisfaction over the positive feedback showered upon the care home by various attendees, including the Mayor and Mayoress of Grimsby and local councillors. The team’s effort in building the care home was immense, and she gave a heartfelt thanks to Swan Care Home Limited for their support. She also took advantage of the occasion to announce that the home was now open to residents.
