The Spilsby Theatre, an emblem of our cultural heritage, is set to undergo significant transformations. The renovation will not only include essential repairs but also a new café, lending a new lease of life to this cherished venue.
The week was also marked by some innovative ideas, with Trevor Wain sharing his ground-breaking idea of using drones for emergency responses in the local area. Flying medical equipment to remote locations could greatly enhance survival chances, reflecting our community’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives.
Ian Russell from Coningsby revealed his inspiring personal journey through his aid work in Ukraine, where he delivered 20 tonnes of supplies. On a more personal note, Lincolnshire’s Laura Coleman-Day ran a marathon in her wedding dress as a tribute to her late husband, with her friend Kate Walford supporting her throughout.
