The sentencing of an 82-year-old accused from Lincoln, Barrie Hall, has been deferred due to his hospitalisation. Hall, who resides in St Andrew’s Gardens, faces an extended jail term for his involvement in historical child abuse. He has accepted responsibility for nine grave offences, which comprise of rape and sexual assault of three underage girls. His sentencing at Lincoln Crown Court was initially organised; however, it was suspended after Hall was hospitalised because of an accidental fall. He has been alerted of a possible sentencing that may lead to a significant term in prison, and the legal proceedings are currently stalled due to his condition.
