Ian Walpole, a former Inspector with the Humberside Police, has confessed to three instances of creating indecent images of minors. Walpole, a 43-year-old resident of South Street, Roxby, North Lincolnshire, was present at the Lincoln Magistrates’ Court where he also faced the accusation of sexual exploitation of a minor below the age of 13, a charge he chose not to respond to. Walpole has been released on conditional bail, with his pre-trial preparation hearing scheduled at the Lincoln Crown Court on 19 June. Terms of his bail stipulate that he is not permitted to have any unsupervised interactions with individuals younger than 18.
