The annual Lincolnshire Wolds Tractor Run, now in its 17th installment, intends this year to be its most impressive to date, with hopes of attracting potential future tractor enthusiasts from across the county. Scheduled for June 8, the event raised more than £3,000 for Marie Curie in 2024, keeping to its tradition of backing the charity. The participants are urged to adorn their tractors, trailers and themselves in yellow, in keeping with the charity’s recognisable branding. Pete Cook, a farmer at Caudwell’s Yard, voiced a keen aspiration for more families to join at the start line, stating, “Against a desire for more families to be present at the start line, is our aim to actively involve the children as they grow up”.
