Sue Frost, a local from Lincoln, has ingeniously found a way to reignite her passion for spin classes, even after a devastating accident resulted in paralysis from the chest down. Now, thanks to the encouraging support of Paul Gribby, a Nottingham-based DJ and producer, she’s delving into the world of DJing. Before the accident, Sue led as many as 11 spin classes weekly but was then introduced to DJing through a Lincolnshire community music charity, SoundLincs. Sue is now gearing up to host online spin classes featuring her own mixes. Paul, dedicated to help Sue find alternate ways to pursue her interest, explained that the idea of her DJing spin classes was suggested during their initial meeting. Presently, Sue is practising on DJ decks that can be mounted on her lap, enabling her to link it with an iPad and speaker. This has successfully birthed a fresh way for her to not only teach but also indulge her love for music.
