Lincolnshire Police have issued an appeal to the public requesting that they refrain from spreading false rumours concerning a recent inquiry into an alleged incident of inappropriate touching in Boston. The incident is reported to have taken place around 03:30 BST in the area of Liquorpond Street. The police are presently making efforts to identify a man observed on an e-bike, who was clad in dark attire, in relation to this investigation. There have been rumours circulating on social media suggesting that a body was discovered; however, the police have denied such claims and have emphasised that the spread of such false information obstructs their investigations.
