RAF Waddington Personnel to Parade Through Lincoln City Centre

Over 100 personnel from RAF Waddington are slated to march through the city centre of Lincoln on 26 June, to exercise the freedom of the city awarded to them. This honour was bestowed on RAF Waddington in 1959, as a mark of respect and gratitude for their invaluable service. The parade, set to commence at 11:30 BST, will start from St Martin’s Square and will progress along the high street. Kate Fenn, the manager of Civic and International Partnerships, expressed pride in celebrating this unique relationship annually.

This story was comprehensively reported by the BBC and has been modified for The Lincoln Post’s readers.
