Humberston Businesses Demand Compensation for Gridlock Caused by Utility Works

Businesses situated in Humberston have conveyed their annoyance following utility works on the 5th of June which induced considerable traffic delays, adversely affecting their day-to-day operations. Eleven local businesses have united to present a bill of £17,000 in an attempt to acquire compensation for the disturbances caused on account of a day that they characterise as experiencing ‘total gridlock’ on the industrial estate’s streets. This situation underscores the ongoing worries concerning the detrimental effect of road works on local trade, an issue closely felt by businesses across Lincolnshire who continue to encounter similar obstacles.
