Lincoln City Defender Zak Bradshaw Moves to Cambridge United

Zak Bradshaw, previously a defender for Lincoln City, has opted for a change of scenery and signed a two-year contract with Cambridge United. Despite having a contract with Lincoln, Bradshaw did not have any opportunity to play for their first team. Both clubs have now agreed on a no-cost transfer deal. The 21-year-old spent the previous season playing on loan at Tranmere Rovers, making a total of 27 appearances in League Two. Bradshaw is eager to establish his career as a steadfast player after an array of loan deals. Cambridge United, currently preparing for their opening match of the new season against Cheltenham Town, views Bradshaw as a promising prospect with valuable League Two experience. Cambridge’s manager, Neil Harris, has expressed his excitement at the prospect of working with Bradshaw and supporting his development.
