Woman Charged Following Fatal Collision at Foston Service Station

A female motorist has been held accountable under charges of causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving in relation to a fatal accident at a petrol station close to Foston. The accident transpired on the A1 service station on the 29th of June 2024. It has been reported by Lincolnshire Police that a Nissan was involved in a collision with a Mercedes, which led to the demise of a 20-year-old woman who had been near the Mercedes at the time of the incident. The lady evidently passed away the following day due to her injuries. An elderly woman of 83, who was a passenger in the Mercedes, endured severe injuries. Fiona Phippen, the driver of the car, aged 44, is the individual who is being charged in connection with the accident.
