New Life for Stamford’s Former Cummins Factory Site with Housing and Offices Approved

The former Cummins generator factory site in Stamford is set for a transformation after receiving approval from South Kesteven District Council. The project, dubbed St Martin’s Park, will feature over 300 homes, a care home, and offices along Barnack Road. The current derelict factory buildings on the site, which the council took ownership of in 2018, are scheduled for demolition. This paves the way for a significant local development. The council confirmed these plans at a recent planning meeting, signalling a new beginning for the site.
