The Lincolnshire Police have made a public plea for information about Neil Trennan, a convicted criminal who has not returned to North Sea Camp, an open prison in Boston, Lincolnshire, following his authorised temporary release. Trennan, aged 60, was last sighted at Boston Train Station. It is suspected that he caught a train to Nottingham around 10:49 BST. There are fears that he may have proceeded to Sheffield subsequently. Police have distributed a photo of Trennan, who was dressed in a black t-shirt and grey trousers at the time. Det Insp Dave Penney of Lincolnshire Police has classified Trennan as a ‘high-risk individual’ who constitutes a potential risk to public safety. The public are encouraged to remain cautious and immediately report any sightings of Trennan to the police.
