The Great Grub Fest is set to make a triumphant return to Cleethorpes seafront, with a weekend planned that is bursting with exquisite food and lively entertainment. Festival organisers, Wayne Russell and Chelsy Hutton, revealed that this year’s event is set to be the biggest yet, having expanded dramatically since it first began three years ago.
The festival will be launched on the Central Promenade, Cleethorpes, and will continue until the end of the weekend, featuring 70 stalls. There will be a diverse range of food, music and art on offer, all of which is designed to celebrate the rich food culture of the Lincolnshire coastline.
When sharing their excitement about the event, Wayne and Chelsy expressed that “This isn’t simply an amazing weekend – it’s about changing the perspective of our small towns. Some might say there’s not much going on here, but we know that’s not the case.” The festival serves to not only embrace local tastes, but also to shine a bright, positive light on the town of Cleethorpes and its dynamic community.
