In North Lincolnshire, residents are being encouraged to provide feedback on regional bus networks. They can do this by boarding two community buses, which have been lovingly called Hattie and Barbara. Throughout August, these buses will be making their rounds to various towns. The purpose of this initiative is to share information regarding the latest changes to transport schemes and, additionally, to offer family fun activities. These include children’s games. The council has pointed out there have been ‘significant improvements’ to local bus services. Such advancements include extension of routes so they connect with more communities. Moreover, this summer there is a special promotion for young individuals, and single bus journeys will cost only £1.
