A substantial drug smuggling plan has been foiled in North Lincolnshire, resulting in a 14-year prison term for Ryan King, a 38-year-old man from Liverpool. The Border Force unearthed the operation at Killingholme Port, in proximity to Grimsby, revealing £11m worth of concealed cocaine and heroin within an air compressor. The drugs were conveyed in a driverless trailer from the Hook of Holland. King, associated with the organised crime group responsible for the operation, initially planned to dispute the charges, however, he shifted his plea to guilty at Hull Crown Court, culminating in his sentence on Tuesday.
