The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance has announced that a black AW109 Grand New helicopter will take over duties within the region whilst the yellow AW169 aircraft receives an in-depth strip-down and inspection in Emden. Head pilot Llewis Ingamells has reassured the public that the substitute helicopter, although marginally smaller, is fully equipped to continue the crucial life-saving missions across Lincolnshire’s communities.
