Solar Farm Proposal Promises Energy for Over 12,500 Homes in North Lincolnshire

Culham Renewables has lodged an application for the development of the Pilfrey Solar Farm, which is to be situated on agricultural terrain between Ealand and Keadby, near to Scunthorpe. It is estimated that the prospective solar farm will encompass approximately 210 acres, spread over seven fields, and will hold a capacity of 49.9MW. If the initiative garners approval, it is forecasted to take six months to build, with an operational lifespan of 40 years. It is further estimated that the solar farm will generate enough energy to power in excess of 12,500 households.
