Man Arrested After Significant Damage to Lincoln’s Roman Wall

A Lincoln resident has been detained after allegedly causing ‘considerable damage’ to a section of Lincoln’s historic Roman wall. The incident took place at the ancient wall and entrance situated between the car parks of City Hall on Beaumont Fee. After receiving reports of the damage at 09:18 BST, Lincolnshire Police conducted investigations and suspect the event happened shortly after midnight.
