Lincolnshire Police are requesting the assistance of witnesses and asking for dashcam footage relating to a fatal accident on Bloxholm Lane, near Metheringham. The accident, which involved a grey Mazda and a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV), happened at approximately 10:45 British Summer Time (BST) on 28 August. Tragically, the car driver, a man in his 60s, died in the collision. For a time, Bloxholm Lane and Metheringham Heath Lane were closed while investigative teams conducted their work at the incident location. The police are encouraging anyone who has information connected to the accident to come forward in support of their investigation.
