Thunderbird 3 Mishap: North Lincolnshire’s Rocket Surprise

A surprising error involving an enormous Thunderbird 3 space rocket has caused a stir in North Lincolnshire, especially around Humberside Airport. A revelation from ex-airport staffer, Andrew Bellamy, indicated that a prior owner’s son inadvertently procured a life-sized replica of the famous Thunderbird 3 rocket, thinking he was obtaining a petite model. This unexpected acquisition occurred in 2008, and the unanticipated scale of the replica led to a comical situation when the team, presuming they were fetching a model, were told to bring a lorry to Blackpool for pick up. Interestingly enough, this humorous event aligns with the 60th-anniversary festivities of the widely-loved children’s puppet science fiction programme ‘Thunderbirds’, which debuted on 30th September 1965.
