Grantham Lions Urgently Seek New Home for Santa’s Sleigh

The Grantham Lions are urgently seeking a new storage facility for their cherished Santa’s sleigh, which is fundamental to their annual fundraising events throughout Lincolnshire. The sleigh, which used to be stored at a Lincolnshire County Council depot, has been left without a home since the storage agreement ended last July. The charity now requires a sheltered, safe location with electricity to power the sleigh’s systems. At present, the Santa’s sleigh, which measures 20ft by 6ft, is temporarily sheltered on a farm. It urgently needs a permanent residence before the Lions’ Santa Sleigh Run planned for early December this year. Phil Marshall, the Lions’ club secretary, has raised concerns about the sleigh’s vulnerability to weather conditions, which could potentially affect its performance. The charity remains optimistic about finding a new home that can adequately house both the sleigh and its towing vehicle safely and conveniently.
