The team at Strawson Woodland, a family-run farm near Louth in Lincolnshire, have shared their delight at being chosen to provide the Christmas wreath for Number 10 Downing Street this season. At the esteemed British Christmas Tree Growers Association (BCTGA) event on 9 October, the hard-working farm won the top Christmas wreath award. Poppy Dales, who created the victorious design with her workmate Jay Hall, shared their enthusiasm because it is the first time the farm, situated in Little Cawthorpe, has entered the contest. ‘We’re all absolutely overjoyed. For a small enterprise like ours, this could put us on the map,’ she excitedly noted.
