Andrew Greengrass, of Foundry Road, Stamford, is facing charges in connection with the murder of Nigel Booth. Booth, aged 67, was found severely injured in a first-floor flat on Foundry Road during the early morning hours of Tuesday, succumbing to his injuries shortly after being discovered. Greengrass, aged 36, appeared before Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Friday. During the hearing, where he gave only his name, address, and date of birth, he did not register a plea. Greengrass has since been remanded in custody with a future court date to be scheduled at Lincoln Crown Court.
