Volunteers Needed to Shape the Future of Scunthorpe’s Central Park

The North Lincolnshire Council seeks passionate volunteers to aid in the upkeep and facilitate the future progress of the esteemed Central Park in Scunthorpe. A public assembly is arranged for 18:00 GMT on Wednesday at The Pods in Scunthorpe, providing an opportunity for locals to gain insight into the formation of a Friends of Central Park community. It is hoped that this group, established for a widely visited green haven by pet walkers, athletes, families, and young ones, will reflect its varied range of patrons. David Rose, the councillor with responsibility for environment and strategy in his cabinet role, stated that ‘Central Park attracts individuals of all ages, hence our firm dedication to building a group that encapsulates this diversity.’
