The South Kesteven District Council is spreading festive joy by offering free parking in the run-up to Christmas. Council-run car parks in Grantham will be free each Friday in December leading up to Christmas Day. Simultaneously, in Stamford, drivers can avail up to four hours of free parking at the Cattle Market car park from Monday to Thursday, starting 1st December through to Christmas Eve. The council parking facilities in Bourne and Market Deeping will continue to offer free parking. Councillor Richard Cleaver, who is responsible for property and public engagement within the cabinet, conveyed that this initiative aims to back local businesses and simplify the festive shopping experience.
