Cleethorpes Station Pathways Set for Major Revamp

Plans have been unveiled for a major overhaul of the pathways around the historic Cleethorpes Railway Station. Constructed originally in 1863 and classified as a Grade II listed building, the station is poised to undergo a number of enhancements proposed by TransPennine Express. These suggestions include decommissioning and replacement of the current ramps and staircases to conform to contemporary disability accessibility standards. The proposed refurbishment will also comprise upgraded landscaping, installation of new seating, and improved lighting to better accommodate daily commuters and tourists.
