Title: Laceby Family Hosts Spectacular Halloween Light Show for Charity

Rewritten Content:

A family from Laceby, North East Lincolnshire, has converted their residence into an impressive Halloween light show to raise funds for a local children’s charity. Rachel and Kevin Barker have decorated their house with more than 20,000 lights, each painstakingly programmed to flash in rhythm with music. “The first day was last Friday, and the crowd that turned up was absolutely overwhelming,” Ms Barker said. “We were teeming with visitors, with several hundreds showing up.” The dazzling light exhibition aims to generate proceeds for The Sunflowers Children’s Action Group, a Grimsby-based charity providing assistance to children with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses.

This year marks the Barkers’ first venture into Halloween light displays, though they have staged Christmas light shows for the preceding two years. “Preparations run into months,” divulges Ms Barker, emphasising the acquisition of new props and the complex job of fitting every LED light onto the house. Apart from the lighting, the family carefully curated music from various genres to add to the spectacle.

The Halloween light show is planned for Friday, 31 October, from 16:00 to 21:00 GMT, and it will reconvene on Saturday, 1 November, from 18:00 to 21:00. The Barkers are expecting a hefty footfall and politely request visitors to be respectful towards the neighbourhood.
