An 85-year-old woman from Honington will stand trial after denying charges of causing death by careless driving. The charges relate to an incident involving a mobility scooter. The accused, Ann Fletcher, resides in Hallfield Crescent, Honington and has been alleged of causing the death of 61-year-old Mark Jackson. The incident occurred following a collision on Broad Street in Grantham in August 2024. The proceedings took place at Lincoln Crown Court where Ms. Fletcher made her plea. The trial, which is expected to run for four days, will begin on 11 May 2026.
