Alice Foster, a Lincoln-based entrepreneur, recently appeared on Netflix’s popular reality show Squid Game: The Challenge. The 29-year-old operates Coffee Depot on Carholme Road with her partner, Harry Weatherill. Foster recounted her experience on the show as an unusual and lengthy ordeal. Although her stint was shortened by an early exit, Foster expressed delight at the intricate settings and the high stakes of the games. The filming was held in London. Despite not walking away with the grand prize of £3.66 million, Foster said it was an outstanding experience. If she had secured victory, her plans were to acquire a vacation home for her family and inject some funds into her coffee shop. The second season of the acclaimed reality series debuted on 4 November.
