The Imp, an infamous symbol of Lincoln Cathedral, has intrigued many with its playful legend. Yet, it’s unknown to many that a twin Imp exists, situated in Grimsby Minster within the same county. As per local narratives, both these Imps were dispatched by the devil to cause mayhem. Whilst one of these Imps was notoriously transformed into stone at the Lincoln Cathedral, the sibling Imp escaped to Grimsby, where it too underwent the same fate.
