Boston Borough Council Introduces Free Festive Parking to Boost Holiday Spirit

Boston residents are set to benefit from complimentary parking arrangements provided by Boston Borough Council, applicable in off-street parking areas from 28th to 30th November and on Saturdays between 6th and 20th December. Introduced with a goal to rejuvenate the town centre during the festive period, the council hopes to encourage a greater number of visitors and stimulate local commerce in the run-up to Christmas. Highlighting the councils’ objectives, Town Centre Portfolio Holder Councillor Mike Gilbert points out that above all, the initiative aims to deliver a more enjoyable, less stressful shopping experience during this community-based celebration period.
