Man in his 30s dies after becoming unresponsive in Lincoln police custody

A man in his 30s has sadly lost his life after becoming unresponsive in a police custody suite at Lincoln Police Station on South Park Avenue. This information was confirmed by Lincolnshire Police who reported the man’s arrest early on Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, during his time in custody, he became unwell. In spite of immediate transportation to hospital, he passed away at 08:40 GMT. The identity of the man has not been released yet, and investigations into the situation are currently underway.
