Mark Street, a resident of Spalding, has been cleared of 11 charges of sexual offences following a trial lasting six days at the Lincoln Crown Court. The 51-year-old man was under examination for serious accusations that comprised seven counts of indecent assault, a charge of impropriety involving a minor, a charge of sexual assault on a minor below 13 of age, one count of exposure, as well as an offence of voyeurism. Regardless of the severe nature of the allegations, Mr Street asserted his innocence throughout the course of the trial. In the late afternoon on Tuesday, a sequence of not guilty verdicts were delivered by the jury, resulting in Recorder Simon King allowing Mr Street to leave the dock a free man.
