Ex-Humberside Police Chief Denies Misconduct Allegations Amid Investigation

Paul Anderson, the previous chief constable of Humberside Police, who oversaw areas including segments of Lincolnshire, has openly rejected accusations of severe misconduct. Mr Anderson, who took retirement in June 2024, expressed his surprise at these allegations and underscored his unfaltering dedication to high standards throughout his years in service. The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is currently undertaking an investigation, wherein Anderson is actively participating to ensure clarity and impartiality. Local police unions and the Humberside Police Federation, including communities in Lincolnshire, are eager for the investigation’s results which will have a significant impact on the region.
