Lincolnshire Police Officer Found Guilty of Sexual Harassment at Social Event

A former Lincolnshire Police officer, Jordan Wakefield, was found guilty of sexually harassing a female colleague during a social gathering, according to a misconduct hearing at the Nettleham headquarters of Lincolnshire Police. The tribunal took place following an incident in July 2024 and ruled that Mr Wakefield’s behaviour amounted to gross misconduct.

Having resigned from his position in October, Mr Wakefield was found to have violated police standards of professional behaviour by acting in a sexually inappropriate way. The tribunal identified that he did not exhibit the expected respect and courtesy towards his colleagues, and engaged in harassment targeted at a colleague based on her gender.
