Police have closed the A1 near Barrowby in south Lincolnshire following a collision.
The closure is affecting traffic travelling through the area, with vehicles being diverted onto local roads around Barrowby and nearby villages. Drivers have been advised to plan ahead, allow extra time and use alternative routes where possible.
Emergency services are at the scene and the road will remain shut while officers deal with the incident and carry out enquiries. Motorists are asked to follow diversion signs and avoid the area to help reduce congestion.
