Boston United has strengthened its team by securing the signature of Matty Carson following his exit from Grimsby Town of League Two. At the age of 22, the left-back has earlier played for the academy of Liverpool and also had a period at Burnley, making 13 appearances for the Mariners in the previous season. Carson also matured professionally with loan stints at Alfreton Town and Radcliffe.
