Burghley Park Golf Club to Welcome New Padel Courts Following Planning Approval

Plans have been approved for the addition of two new padel courts to the historic Burghley Park Golf Club, situated near Stamford, Lincolnshire. Initial plans were met with some resistance due to the resulting elimination of seven trees from the site, but an updated proposal ensured preservation of the local environment. The padel courts will instead be erected in the designated car park of the club. The planning permission was formally granted on 19th December. This new development presents an appealing opportunity for the club, allowing members and visitors alike to participate in the rapidly growing sport of padel.
