Grimsby Town Boost Squad with New Signing Jayden Sweeney

Grimsby Town has fortified its team with the acquisition of Jayden Sweeney, the full-back player from Leyton Orient. Sweeney, who embarked on his career with Leyton Orient when he was just seven years old, has since made 60 league appearances. The 23-year-old has signed a two-year contract and will be officially joining the Mariners when his current contract with ‘the O’s’ concludes this Tuesday.

David Artell, the manager of Grimsby Town, conveyed his satisfaction regarding the new addition. He stated, ‘He is a player we have been monitoring for some time, so we are thrilled he chose us.’ It is anticipated that Sweeney’s signing will provide a significant boost to Grimsby Town’s defence in the forthcoming season.
