Grimsby Town Manager David Artell Commits Future with New Contract

David Artell, the manager of Grimsby Town, has signed a new contract which extends his tenure at the club until the end of the 2027-28 season. Artell, the former manager of Crewe Alexandra, took over the helm at Blundell Park in November 2023 after Paul Hurst left the club. Under Artell’s direction, the team managed an impressive ninth-place finish in League Two last season, missing out on a play-off position by a narrow margin of just two points. “We’ve seen considerable progress, and I’m hopeful that we can sustain this upward trajectory in the forthcoming season and beyond,” Artell stated on the club’s official website.
