Grimsby Triumphs Over Everton U21s with Jamie Walker’s Stellar Performance

Grimsby Town ensured a respectable finish in the Northern Group C of the EFL Trophy with a notable 5-3 victory over Everton Under-21s at their home ground of Blundell Park. Jamie Walker thumped it out of the park with a noteworthy performance, with two goals and two assists, significantly strengthening the Mariners’ spirited game. Clarke Oduor, Zak Gilsenan and Reece Staunton finished off the remaining goals for Grimsby. Even though Everton’s Jacob Beaumont-Clark, William Tamen and George Morgan scored, it was not sufficient to overturn the triumphant Mariners’ formidable night.
