Grimsby’s Festival of the Sea Celebrates Maritime Heritage with Vibrant Event

Grimsby is set to honour its maritime legacy with the fifth annual Festival of the Sea, inviting Lincolnshire residents to partake in the festivities. The event aims to showcase Grimsby’s enduring relationship with the sea through a dynamic blend of music, art, entertainment, and food demonstrations. The organizers have prioritized accessibility and sustainability, offering sensory workshops, guided tours, and engaging performances. The North East Lincolnshire Council has applauded the festival as an ideal venue that demonstrates how the town’s rich past and substantial heritage can be dovetailed with the current day. Alexandra Dock will host the free family event from 11:00 to 17:00 BST on 21 June, promising a delightful day out for the people of Lincolnshire.
