Humber firms urge Government to back £500m decision to drive hydrogen jobs for North and North East Lincolnshire

Business
North and North East Lincolnshire businesses are urging the Government to support a decision they say could unlock investment of up to £500 million and help create jobs linked to the hydrogen sector. The firms say backing for hydrogen production and related infrastructure in the Humber area would give employers greater certainty to invest, train staff and develop supply chains locally. They are calling on ministers to set out clear timescales and criteria for any funding or regulatory decisions, and to explain how the potential benefits would be shared across communities in North and North East Lincolnshire. The Government has been approached for comment.
