Iconic Album Art Exhibition to Open at Lincoln Castle

Lincoln Castle is preparing to accommodate an intriguing exhibition that spotlights notable album artwork, comprising pieces such as the Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles. The exhibit, known as ‘Playback: Art of the Album Sleeve’, is scheduled to commence on Thursday, 5 June and conclude on Sunday, 24 August. The audience is assured a sneak peek into the narratives behind over 100 unforgettable record covers including works from artists such as Duran Duran and Elvis Presley. On top of this, visitors will experience the unique chance to view contributions from the designers behind the creation of these legendary covers.
