Illuminate Gainsborough Set to Light Up the Winter Night

Gainsborough is gearing up for an evening of luminary artistry and community spirit with the return of its annual Illuminate Gainsborough festival on 21 February. From 18:00 to 20:00 GMT, the town will metamorphose into a vivid spectacle of fire sculptures, moving displays, and community-initiated lantern parades. The West Lindsey District Council is organising the event, intending to exhibited Gainsborough’s rich history. Prominent landmarks such as the Gainsborough Old Hall and All Saints Parish Church will serve as stunning canvases for light installations. Councillor Matt Boles expressed his gratification for the festival, highlighting its role in honouring the town’s history as well as inspiring creativity and inclusivity.
