Lincoln City Secure Key Players with Contract Extensions

Lincoln City have confirmed that they have extended the contracts of key players, Tendayi Darikwa, Reeco Hackett, and Conor McGrandles, until the end of the upcoming season, making a firm statement of their intent to further their promotional ambitions. Darikwa, who previously played for Limassol, has made a sizeable contribution to the squad’s success this season with 30 appearances and three goals already under his belt. His teammate, McGrandles, formerly of Charlton Athletic, has also played a pivotal role with participation in 29 fixtures this season.

Hackett, who has maintained his position as a forward in the club for the past two-and-a-half years, has scored an impressive seven times in just 25 games this season. Sporting Director, Jez George, beamed with pride as he acknowledged the significant part each of these core players have played in a successful season. He proclaimed, “All three have been instrumental in our season to date and will continue to be important players for the rest of this season”.

At present, Lincoln City are in the second position in League One, demonstrating their formidable form by remaining undefeated in their last eight matches. Their next challengers will be Luton Town, who they are set to play at their home ground this coming Saturday.
